Japan's food exports are driven by high-priced marine products, livestock products, alcoholic beverages such as Japan sake, and fruits.
On the other hand, the growth rate of vegetables is low among export items, and it is exposed to fierce price competition with other countries.
However, Asian countries such as Hong Kong, Singapore, and Taiwan have seen an increase in incomes and a wider range of affordable prices. If there is a range in the price range that can be purchased, we can compete with added value. Since the Corona disaster has experienced and the way of thinking about added value has changed, we can expect an increase in exports if we can provide agricultural products that meet market needs by appealing to the times.
In FY2024, we plan to establish "Global Farm Kai Co., Ltd." in Hokuto City, Yamanashi Prefecture, in collaboration with Furman Inoue Farm Co., Ltd. and Shoda Minoru Industry Co., Ltd., specializing in exports.
